The first President of the USSR Mikhail Gorbachev refused to participate in scheduled for September 16-18 international conference in Prague, informs on Wednesday, September 14, Prague newspaper “Novyny Lidove”.
“Mikhail Gorbachev will not come to Prague. The doctors recommended that he participate in the conference for health reasons,” — said the publication.
Last night, Gorbachev became ill, told Czech reporters one of the organizers of the conference Milan Sirucek.
In a press-service of the first President of the USSR denied this information. “Gorbachev really refused to travel to Prague on the advice of doctors, but it works in normal mode, every day comes to [Gorbachev]Fund”, — quotes the press service of the TASS.
