The explosion killed one person.
The explosion on a small tanker Eiwa Maru 3″ under the flag of South Korea, near Japan, one person died.
According to the news portal of Wakayama Prefecture with reference to the representatives of the local coast guard and medics, the explosion on the ship occurred on the evening of 9 September.
As a result of the incident killed a South Korean citizen who worked at the tanker as a chief mechanic. Two other crew members, citizens of Indonesia who were at the time of the explosion on the ship, sustained injuries of varying severity.
According to preliminary data, the explosion occurred at a time when the team clears out of the tank for transportation fuel. Other details yet aren’t reported.
