Ukrainian state-owned Oschadbank has filed a lawsuit in the international court against Russia. The financial institution is going to get a billion dollars compensation for the loss of assets in Crimea. The relevant information is posted on the website of the Bank on Friday, August 26.
“The amount of requirements includes the cost of loss of assets and the interest that will be accrued until the court makes a final decision”, — stated in the message Bank.
August 16 Oschadbank lost the court of first instance of the trademark “Sberbank”. A credit institution is insisting that the brand of “Sberbank” belonged to her even before the Russian Sberbank has begun to provide financial services on the territory of Ukraine.
In July, former Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk said that Oschadbank has filed a lawsuit against Russia for 40 billion rubles. According to the Minister of economic development Alexei Ulyukayev, the claims of the Bank were futile.
