The Ukrainian program of the fifth day of the Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro was significantly corrected due to weather conditions in Brazil.
The first racket of Ukraine Elina Svitolina in the framework of the quarterfinals of the singles on the centre court was supposed to play with Czech Petra Kvitova, but the rain did not allow players to go on court.
In full day of competition was cancelled in the Ukrainian rowing four pairs (male – Ivan Dovgodko, Dmytro Mikhay, Artem Morozov, Olexandr Nadtoka; women – Daria Skygazer, Olena Buryak, Anastasiia Kozhenkova, Eugene Nimchenko) had to swim finals.
