In the opening qualifiers for the world championship the national team of Ukraine scored five points – the team leaders remain the wingers Andriy Yarmolenko and Yevhen Konoplyanka.
The newspaper “Team” deciphered tactical and technical actions of the Ukraine national team for matches against Iceland (1:1), Turkey (2:2) and Kosovo (3:0).
For TTD the best for “blue-yellow” team was victorious duel with Kosovo – 1019 action with a minimum percentage of defects (16). While the wards of Andrey Shevchenko has made 18 fast attacks, which is two times more than in the match against Iceland.
In each of the three matches the national team of Ukraine inflicted 13 hits and scored six goals. The average for playing “blue-yellow” applied on 6.7 shots on goal. Accordingly, every third hit the target becomes a goal.
Ukrainians in the match consistently give about 500 gears with impressive accuracy – 86%. On average, the team arranges for the flanking transmission of 14.3, and 15.7 sharp passes and 32 times in the game resorts to long passes.
Seven players (Andriy Pyatov, Oleksandr Kucher, Bogdan Butko, Eduard Sobol, Taras Stepanenko, Viktor Kovalenko and Andrey Yarmolenko) played the maximum of 270 minutes.
The average number of TTD per game leads the Shakhtar defender Yaroslav Rakitskiy, who in the match with Iceland made 117 technical and tactical actions. Over a hundred TTD also the assets of Oleksandr Kucher and Taras Stepanenko.
The number of shots on goal ahead of Yevhen Konoplyanka (10), Andriy Yarmolenko more often makes a sharp transmission (19), Linnet regular makes a successful stroke (28), and Taras Stepanenko with a huge margin in the lead by quantity of the won single combats (43).
Only five players of the national team in three qualifiers for the 2018 world Cup was marked by the effective action. Three goals in the asset Yarmolenko, two goals on account of a free kick and one from rotan. Two assists from Yarmolenko, one at a time, Kravets, Zinchenko and Karavaeva.
