Ratification on 10 July 2012 of the Protocol on the accession of our country to the WTO on the need to make the following preliminary conclusions:
1. Even a truncated Constitution of the Russian Federation of 1993 in our country don’t actually work. In particular, it violated the constitutional right of the people to address vital issues by means of a referendum (two attempts of public organisations to hold a referendum on the WTO were rejected by the Central election Commission). It is not enough to say that after Russia’s accession to the WTO begin to be followed by this organization that negate important provisions of the Supreme law of the Russian Federation (provisions on national sovereignty, of the social state, human rights, etc.).
2. The constitutional court of the Russian Federation (KS) in the course of consideration of the appeal request of opposition parties (the Communist party and “Fair Russia”) about the legality of the ratification procedures of the Protocol, the WTO has not shown integrity, turned a blind eye to gross violations of the Basic law of our country.
3. The party “United Russia” voted unanimously in the State Duma for ratification the Protocol on the WTO, in fact, acted as the conductor of those political decisions that were made outside our country aimed at weakening and occupation. We cannot say that the deputies of the ruling party did not know what they were doing. Was in charge of. Take, for example, the Deputy from “United Russia” E. A. Fedorova. With his light hand in the media more boldly began to use expressions like “occupation”, “colonialism”, “loss of sovereignty” etc. But he did not dare to break party discipline and voted for ratification. The events surrounding the WTO once again proved that the current system of elections to the Supreme legislative authority is unable to enforce the constitutional provision stating that the source of power in the country is the people.
4. The people and opposition forces (NGOs, political parties) had demonstrated its weakness, fragmentation, inability to resist anti-Russian forces located outside Russia, and inside it (fifth column). However, the discussions around the WTO and it has played a positive role: a number of organizations and public figures, which positioned itself as “opposition” and “patriots” showed a surprising omission in the campaign of opposition to the WTO. This campaign has revealed who is who in the Patriotic movement.
5. Already the first event, after it was ratified Protocol on Russia’s accession to the WTO, show the correctness of assessments of the impact of this accession is made by specialists representing the opposition forces. These events include, for example, held after the ratification of the revision (in the negative direction), the domestic metallurgists of the industry to participate in the competition on the world market.
Finally, in July, the foreign mass media there were publications in which very frankly began to be enthroned as the great opportunities that have opened to Western multinational corporations and banks in our country in connection with the ratification by Russia of the Protocol on the WTO.
Yes, the opponents of Russia’s accession to the WTO suffered at this stage of the history of defeat. Lose heavy, which can be equated to the signing of the instrument of surrender. However, it is not necessary to be discouraged. Recall that exactly 200 years ago Napoleon without any problems reached as far as Moscow and even took her. For many Russians it was then, deep shock. But as it turned out, this was not a victory over the Russian people.
