Avocado is a very useful product.
It contains 20 vitamins and minerals, and monounsaturated fatty acids.
Its pulp is added to salads, sandwiches. But now nutritionists say we throw most nutritious part of the avocado pit. It contains the main proportion of nutrients (70%).
Nutritionist Amy Shapiro comments: “the bone a lot of antioxidants and fiber. Just need to know how to cook it. The seeds can be ground into powder which is then added to yogurt or smoothies. Pure bone is not very good, because they are bitter”.
Antioxidants fight free radicals, so the pit in the avocado are actually able to prevent several diseases. Also antioxidants can prevent the formation of wrinkles. As for fiber, it helps to stay full longer, your digestive tract to work normally, and cholesterol levels stay within the normal range.
