The blogger ran an unusual tour.
One hour. A lot or a little? Of course, looking for something. Rabbits a lot, but in order to see the city, definitely not enough.
But, nevertheless, it so happened that in Berlin we had a 1 hour. And it was during this time, I had to see max.
Good thing it was a weekend day, the streets are free and our Mercedes Sprinter moved through the streets of the German capital in the regime of the Kenyan runner. Gendarme square, the Brandenburg gate, Reichstag, Bundestag, Berlin station, the remains of the Berlin wall, Alexanderplatz, the buildings of East Berlin… All we had to survey in just one hour!
Yes, such a rapid city tour I’ve ever been, but so it was and interesting!
So, what can you see in Berlin in 1 hour.
In Berlin we lived in the Hilton Berlin, which were not very pleasant memories from the story with some unrealistic amount of the security Deposit. Well, as it is located right on Gendarme square, the tour of the German capital we started from right here. Square looks pretty cool, and on its sides are two identical buildings with towers and columns – the German and French cathedrals, which… cathedrals are not, and never was.
In their desire to see Berlin, we are not alone in this city tour excursion buses, minibuses, walking group, and even here such tour columns on the bike.
We are immediately after the Gendarmerie square, head to the famous Brandenburg gate.
Today the area in front of them is clogged with tourists, and on both sides adjacent to the gate of the building on the left, American Embassy, right French. And once the gates were right behind the Berlin wall, which took place just a few meters in front of them. And there were no buildings as of now…
The famous Quadriga on the gate. It is not just changed its appearance: the cross has disappeared from the wreath (when Germany were socialist countries), Napoleon and were ordered to carry the entire song in Paris, it was completely destroyed during the war, it is 12 years waving the Soviet flag…
Now here everything is calm, carefree, tourists sunbathing in the autumn sun….

Traces of the old heritage of East Germany – the famous Trabant, which left quite a bit…
And this is a modern vehicle. So in Berlin, there are the utility. Cool what to say!

Stunning and very cool station in Berlin. Here converge two Railways that intersect at an angle of 90 degrees. In the end, one branch comes to the lower tier of the station and perpendicular to it on the second, top tier station!
Going to East Berlin… of course, there are notable differences from Western…
Wall… a portion of it was left untouched, as a historical exhibit. Every square centimeter of painted graffiti.
Visit the avenues in the Eastern part of the city.

As you know, all these houses appeared in the 60-70-ies.
Today, apartments here are very expensive: a quality home, and all the internal stuffing them replaced some time ago, making housing modern.
By the way, very interesting to look at old houses, which appeared immediately after the war and built in the style of pre-war buildings. Please note, this panel of the box, if you look closely. And I can’t tell you!
The famous Berlin TV tower unpalatable Sphera restaurant upstairs. It was built in East Berlin almost near the wall, to patrolling neighbours on the West side.

By the way, notice how in Berlin are political billboards. These are temporary structures which will be removed once the period of advertising. Perfectly well made to not clog the city is!

Our hour passed… We’re going back to the Gendarmerie area and say goodbye to our driver and tour guide. On the way to the hotel, pay attention to the odd couple in some kind of strange business.
