The leader of the Ukrainian band “Vopli Vidopliassova” Oleg Violin recently gave an interview to the portal Delfi summarized the disappointing results of what is happening in his country: “Today the situation is catastrophic: Ukrainians are dying”. But the blame for this, according to the musician, not independence, not corruption, not power, Utagawa Donbass shells and mines, and Russian … language.
– In Kiev, capital of Ukraine, native Ukrainian language are in an aggressive environment. For example, you send children to a Ukrainian school, where lessons are conducted in the Ukrainian language, but changes the vast majority of children and teachers communicate in Russian, – complains a Violin. Books in the Ukrainian language too little. On the radio and on TV there are almost no songs in Ukrainian. The kids need trainer on Sambo-wrestling or gymnastics – they all teach classes in Russian language. That is, in the capital of the country, we, Ukrainians, are in the ghetto. And no ruler or official in this matter has never been decided.

Violin sees no danger to the population in the fact that Ukraine has dramatically lowered educational standards. For example, for students in grades 1-2 the Ministry of education approved changes to the program for which knowledge of the requirements of the table of addition with the range of 10 to 20 reduced to 5. Also cancelled standards for reading. Apparently, the knowledge for young Ukrainians no longer be necessary even at the minimum values.
Violin sees no danger for his nation, and that from July 1 this year in Ukraine have canceled the payment of benefits to care for a child under the age of three. Left only for those born before July 1, but they are minimized – 130 UAH. And payments for the birth of the second and third child significantly reduced.
In Ukraine, there is a lot of things wrong, the situation is deteriorating with each passing day, but the famous Ukrainian musician Oleh Skrypka sees only one danger – the presence of the Russian language as the main means of communication between people. As if forgetting that all the current problems of Kiev and its environs began with attempts to make the dominant Ukrainian MOV to nail Russian language.
