The Russian foreign Ministry found out about the Directive to U.S. representatives in financial institutions
The official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said that Washington has sent a Directive to their representatives in the IMF and the world Bank to block funding for programs related to Russia.
Zakharova said at a briefing in Moscow that such directives received by U.S. officials and other multilateral financial institutions. The idea is to prevent the allocation of funds for any program related with Russia, reports “Interfax”.
Zakharova noted that in Russian-American relations “good news” and accused Washington in the continuation of the destruction of bilateral relations. She recalled that almost every day we hear threats of expansion of sanctions, and calls on the international community to go the same way.
Zakharov said that the USA do not hide that “the main purpose of the sanctions policy is harming the economy of the Russian Federation”.
According to the representative of the Russian foreign Ministry, “the level of Russophobic propaganda” already “just rolls”.
She also called spreading false information about the “Russian hackers” and explained that the way the American Everyman driven into the head of the image of Russia as the enemy.
We add that since 2003, Russia has not taken loans from the IMF.
