VTB will leave from the Ukrainian market, as soon as a good opportunity. On Friday, may 20, said the head of the Bank Andrey Kostin on the TV channel “Russia 24”, his words leads TASS.
“We are interested in selling. We have interest from Ukrainian and Russian, even international potential buyers. We will continue to work. And when the opportunity arises, we would have left from this market,” said Kostin.
He stressed that he sees great prospects for development in the current political situation in Ukraine. Kostin added that the interest in the Ukrainian assets of VTB showed three or four players. “Overall the mood to get rid of the assets we have. In principle, the demand is also there. We have, I’m not going to call them now, already three or four interested parties”, — he said.
May 18, Kommersant reported that the Russian credit organizations with state participation, is thinking about leaving the Ukrainian market. A day earlier, Kostin said that VTB could sell your business in Ukraine. According to him, the Bank takes significant losses there.
