Vakarchuk dedicated a song to Andrei Kuzmenko

May 19, 2016, the Ukrainian band “Okean Elzy” released their ninth Studio album titled “between”, which included eleven songs.

The leader of the group Sviatoslav Vakarchuk was a guest on the radio “Aristocrats”, where, in fact, introduced the fresh work of the team.

The singer commented on every composition. Interestingly, the song “Someone in the sky, letit” performer dedicated to Kuzma Skryabin, who was killed in an accident in 2015.

“I call him a brother in arms, after all, knew him well. This song inspired by the tragic events of last year, when Kuzma was killed. At first I wasn’t going to advertise that the song is dedicated to him. But then I thought, “why not?“ – said Vakarchuk.
