Ukrainian women’s team in volleyball has qualified to the final of the European championship.
In the group stage Ukrainka took second place and went for a trip to Euro 2017 qualifying matches with Spain.
Home the meeting was held in South Ukrainian national team under the leadership of Gary Egiazarov was lost 0:2, but managed to turn the game into a tiebreak and the third set, the Ukrainian women played a couple of match balls. Women’s team of Ukraine for the seventh time qualified to the final stage of the European championship. The main achievement of the team remains in third place, obtained in 1993.

The final stage of the Euro 2017 will be held in Azerbaijan and Georgia from the first of September-15th of October.
