Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister renamed “the Eurovision” in “Roscovitine”

Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister Vyacheslav Kyrylenko commented in his Twitter the decision of the organizers of the musical contest “Eurovision” on the prohibition to bring the Crimean Tatar flags.

“That is, administrators of “Eurovision” which recognize the annexation of Crimea?! Then it “Roscovitine”!” — he wrote.

29 April on the website of the concert hall of Stockholm Globe Arena was published a press release which says that the concerts, held in the framework of the competition, it is forbidden to bring the Crimean and Crimean Tatar flags, and flags of Kosovo, Nagorno-Karabakh, Palestine, the self-proclaimed republics of Donbass, Northern Cyprus, Transnistria and the terrorist organization “Islamic state” (banned in Russia).

The official flags of the countries participating in competitions and banners with gay symbols ban does not apply.

“We urge the international community to respect the non-political nature of the Eurovision”, — stated in the contest rules.

In Crimea, the building of the flag of the Republic in line with the symbolism of the terrorists taken by the organizers of “Eurovision”, called flawed.

The final of “Eurovision” will be held may 14 in Stockholm. Russian Sergey Lazarev will perform in the first semi-final on may 10.

In the second semifinal on 12 may, the stage is Ukrainian Jamala with a song about the Crimean Tatars. The organizers did not see a political subtext in the choice of composition for the Ukrainian participants, but forbade Ukraine to make any political statements before, during and after the contest.
