The head coach of the national team on mini-football Alexander Kosenko announced the bid for the world Cup.
At the world championship in Colombia Kosenko hopes for 14 players, including two legionary and one player not having a club registration.
The national team of Ukraine on the world Cup:
Goalkeepers: Eugene Iwanyk (“Dina”, Russia) Dmitry Litvinenko (“The Locomotive”).
Field players: Yevgen Valenko (“Economic”, Serbia), Sergei Zhurba (without a club), Igor Borsuk (HIT), Michael hrycyna, Nicholas Gritsyna (both “Energy”), Sergey Koval, Peter Shoturma (both “Hurricane”), Dmitry Sorokin, Alexander Sorokin, Mykola bilotserkivets, Dmitry Bondar, Denys Ovsyannikov (Lokomotiv).
At the eighth world championship on mini-football the national team has got in group D and will play against Brazil (September 12), Mozambique (15 September) and Australia (18 September).
The future world championship will be the national team of Ukraine of the fifth. The best result was achieved in 1996 (fourth place), and four years ago in Thailand Ukrainians in the quarter-final stage was stopped by the Columbia.
