If the US presidency is the Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, Ukraine could obtain a lethal weapon. This opinion was expressed by adviser to the Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine Zoryan Shkiriak in broadcast television channel “112 Ukraine”.
He noted that the outcome of the US elections “depends very much” and expressed hope that the President will be the democratic candidate.
“And I am convinced that it is appropriate statements are made that during the Clinton presidency, Ukraine could be given a lethal weapon,” said Shkiryan.
He added that, if elected, Clinton, “it will keep a tough stance against Russia and [President Vladimir] Putin.” Shkiryan expressed hope that the democratic candidate will be able to continue the policy of protecting and supporting the interests of Ukraine.
