According to a study by rating company GoBankingReates, Ukraine took the 24th place out of 112 on the cheapness of life. Analysts evaluated the performance of local purchasing power, the cost of rental housing, the prices of food goods and services, writes UNN referring to Time.
The benchmark was chosen above performance in new York. In Ukraine, according to the rankings, the purchasing power by 71.9% lower than in new York city, rent is cheaper in to 91.1%, the prices of the products below on 77,3%, services – less than 71.2%.
Low income Ukrainians has led to one of the low purchasing ability among the 50 most cheapest countries in the world, the company said. So, in Kiev residents spend about $ 325 per month per person (excluding rent).
Poland ranked second in a rating 12-e a place, Russia – 39-s. cheapest countries named India, South Africa and Kosovo. The most expensive are Switzerland, Bahamas and Bermuda and Hong Kong.
