Ukraine announced a sharp drop in the shadow economy

Украина заявила о резком падении теневой экономики

The level of shadow economy in Ukraine from January to September 2015 was 40% of GDP, which is 41% better GDP for the same period of 2014. About it reports the Ministry of economic development and trade.

The office noted that earlier liquidation has been constrained several pending issues: the significant tax burden on the corporate sector amid high cost of borrowing and the adverse external environment.

A reduction in domestic demand and the rising costs of imported raw materials due to the devaluation and the imposition of additional import collection, there are significant investment risks, the aggravation of international relations with Russia and Ukraine’s loss of its markets.

We will remind, in August 2015 the level of shadow economy in Ukraine has increased to 47%. The shadow economy continued to grow in the country since 2013.
