Hangzhou opens the G20 summit meeting of the heads of twenty leading countries of the world. The summit will be a meeting of heads of Russia, Germany and France, who will discuss Ukraine without the participation of the Ukraine. The “Normandy format” continues to exist, but without the participation of Kiev: after the scandal with the Ukrainian commandos in Crimea, Russia has insisted on the exclusion of Ukraine “Norman format”. Consent of Western leaders to discuss the fate of Ukraine in the “Normandy format” without the participation of Ukraine is a major diplomatic victory for Moscow and a major political defeat for Kiev.
The G20 summit last year in Brisbane was memorable public obstruction, which gave Western leaders Vladimir Putin. Fellow presidents and heads of governments pointedly ignored Russian leader Prime Minister of Australia invited Putin to apologize for the Malaysian “Boeing”, and the Prime Minister of Canada responded to the outstretched hand Putin phrase, “I Think I should shake your hand, but I’ll tell you just one thing: get out of Ukraine”.

For official Kiev the agreement about Poroshenko’s participation in the G20 summit was a great diplomatic success: Ukraine farther away, the less of a chance to get in the “Group of twenty” and to participate in the activities of the G20, and then the President of Ukraine participated in the forum of the heads of leading States and largest economies in the world. A visit to Hangzhou would be for Poroshenko no less a political trump card than the return to Ukraine Hopes Savchenko in the spring of this year, and Putin has provided the Ukrainian leader a big favor by agreeing to meet him at the G20 summit.

The Western allies most severe humiliated Ukraine and its leader: they actually recognized the Kiev regime is their puppet, agreeing to discuss the fate of Ukraine without the Ukraine.
