Tusk hopes to extend sanctions against Russia

Tusk hopes that the EU will continue sanctions in December.

The President of the European Council Donald Tusk said that it expects to extend EU sanctions against Russia in December.

About this Tusk said during the meeting with Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman.

“I hope that in December we in the European Council will be able to extend our consistent policy concerning the imposition and extension of sanctions”, – the President of the European Council.

He also added that this is a complicated issue, but the EU needs to be consistent.
