The eccentric billionaire has won new voters after the Republican Convention.
Trump was ahead of Clinton by three percent (48 percent vs. 45), unless the other candidates. In the case that there will be four candidates, including libertarian Gary Johnson and protege of green Jill Stein, the billionaire will overtake the former head of the US state Department for another two percent (44 vs 39).
The survey results also indicate that the side of the tramp stood many voters without party preference (46 percent on the side of trump and 28 percent on the side of Clinton).
The poll, conducted from July 22 to 24, took part 1001 American adults.
The Republican Convention was held in Cleveland (Ohio) from 18th to 21st of July. The Democratic Convention, where, as expected, Clinton will be nominated the official candidate of the political Association – will be held in Philadelphia (Pennsylvania) from 25 to 28 July.
