In Moscow protesting truckers created an alternative trade Union organization “Association of carriers of Russia” to fight the system “Platon”, RBC reports.
According to information of the edition, at the founding Congress there were about 300 drivers out of 31 Russian region. Adopted the Charter of the organization, and also the current Chairman of the Association. They became the St. Petersburg trucker Andrey Bautin, who led the protest camp drivers in Khimki.
As told RBC Bautin, existing organizations could not solve the problem of drivers. The organization, he said, will be to act within the law and will seek legal inconsistencies in the work of Plato.
“We used to have no organization at all was not. Now we are trying to get together and create this organization. Were not our organization that did not solve our problems”, — quotes Bazhutina the TV channel “Rain”.
The government has approved the bill according to which from the vehicle tax for heavy trucks will be subtracted the sum of payments made in the “Plato”. In addition, was extended a reduced rate (1.53 rubles per kilometer — Ed.) pay for travel on Federal highways for heavy trucks up to 30 June 2017.
The system of charging for the passage of trucks weighing more than 12 tons on Federal highways “Plato” has earned 15 of November 2015. The introduction of new road tolls from heavy trucks has caused mass protests of truckers across the country.
