Three leaders of the Pakistani Taliban eliminated in Afghanistan

Sources in the Pakistani security forces reported killing of the three leaders of the Taliban in Pakistan. This, according to them, occurred during a joint air strikes by Afghanistan and NATO in the area of Laman that in the Afghan province of Paktika.

On September 25, the sources said that Rais Khan, also known as Azam Tariq, a spokesman for the group “Khan said,” the breakaway group “Tehreek-e-Taliban”, was killed the night before. This information is confirmed in the group “Khan said.

Sources report that during the air strikes also killed the son of Tariq and two other leaders of the Pakistani Taliban. The names of the other victims is not known.

The Afghan authorities acknowledge only air strikes in the region, and notes that at the time they were killed “at least 10 militants”. The Deputy speaker of the Ministry of defence of Afghanistan Mohammad Radmanesh said Azam Tariq, there are probably among the dead.

In 2014, the group “Khan said severed ties with Mullah Fazlullah, the leader of the group “Tehrik-e-Taliban,” saying that it intends to operate independently in North Waziristan.
