Fighting intensified in the South-West of Aleppo — the rebels opened a new front in the areas Ramose and Minion.

If you look at the map control Aleppo and its suburbs, you will see that half of the city controlled by the rebels (East), half — Asad (West).
In the suburbs the situation is opposite — Assad swept the Crescent city from the Eastern suburbs, rebels from the West.
The latest maneuver, overlying the oxygen of the rebel part of the metropolis had become the blockade of the highway Castello (connected the West of the city with the outside world).
Put it in a blockade position over 340 thousands of civilians in rebel territory — they were deprived of supplies of food, medicines, fuel, etc.
