The world Bank complained about the inability of Kiev to learn by the country loans. This was stated by the senior Manager of portfolio of world Bank projects in Ukraine Klavdia Maksimenko, reports “Mirror of week” on Sunday, August 14. According to her, the country’s failure to learn by means is a global problem faced by all the main borrowers.
“The experience of implementation of similar projects in other countries shows that they can be implemented in Ukraine, but experience unfortunately proves the opposite”, she said.
According to Maksimenko, these problems are partly related to the fact that the Ukrainian system is very bureaucratic and “closed in on itself.
“Sometimes I get this sad impression that the world Bank projects in Ukraine most of all needed to the world Bank. But we are not actually earned, investments in Ukraine are not the source of our income,” she added.
The world Bank is among the three main creditors of Ukraine. In addition to it, it featured the international monetary Fund (IMF) and the European Union (EU).
