The US state Department denied accusations of Russian war crimes

The U.S. state Department believe that the statements of Secretary of state John Kerry regarding Russia’s actions in Syria do not contain direct accusations of war crimes. This was stated at a briefing the official representative of foreign policy Department of the USA John Kirby.

“He expressed his sincere opinion that these violations of international law need to investigate properly as they potentially can be qualified as war crimes”, — quotes the words of the Kirby TV channel RT.

The American diplomat added that the investigation should be carried out “in the framework of the UN and the international community.”
