The unity of the opposition failed

Объединение оппозиции провалилось

Who is more “agent of the Kremlin” – or Misha, Grisha?

I have such a weakness – really do not like when people lie. Especially if the people close to me declare some ideas.

How many times have I already told myself that to believe our leading “liberal” parties can’t. But no – in the shower still kept hope alive. And here is another frustration…

A few months PARNASSUS with Yabloko pounded water in a mortar, discussing the future of the Association to participate in the elections to the Duma, accusing each other of unwillingness to participate in these good deeds and persuading each other to help supporters to see the familiar faces of their elected representatives in the legislative body of the Russian Federation… the Result was expected: the parallel columns, which will fight for the same electorate.

Who is to blame?

At first glance, the claims of Parnassus to the “Apple” look more reasonable. “Apple” was more cutting and hinted that they would take from “frenemies” only unconditional surrender and a transition in their sandbox. PARNASSUS, in addition to the proposals of the transfer of Yabloko to the Democratic coalition is something else offered. But…

Somehow I came across some article that contradicts the arithmetic rule of addition when the formation of a unified liberal front for the elections. The author foaming at the mouth argued that the audience at Parnassus with the “Apple” is different, and the associations are no good will not. Now, this short article with a joyous frenzy repost on Twitter as supporters of the Democratic coalition that leads to some sad thoughts…

Of course, we can call “Apple” left, and “Penacova” – right-wing liberals. But actually these differences are very conditional. And how smartly some functionaries of the type Yashin had time to run back and forth, suggests that the ideological difference is not particularly feel themselves…

Both parties have not even the most important – to clearly explain to voters the algorithm of actions in case, lo and behold, the liberal party should come to power. Well, I will come. And then what? Specifically, a first, second, third, fourth? There is no such! Only General phrases! The struggle, improvement, thawing… So in the decrees and write?

So if there’s one thing our leading liberal forces, so this is a fairly amorphous until a set of liberal ideas, based on Western values. And, as for me, close to any Russian liberals, regardless of “left” or “right” bias. Therefore, the potential for combining… But for some reason they don’t want to use… again…

Sometimes I begin to think that all the activities of our liberal parties are roughly set by government performance designed to enthrall millions of potentially dangerous liberal voters something completely stupid and futile.

I and a number would be wrong…
