President of the European Council Donald Tusk confirmed on his Twitter that the EU and London have agreed to place the UK in the EU.
“Deal. Unanimous support for a new entry for the UK in the EU”, – he wrote in his microblog.
European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, in turn, said on Twitter: “agreed to a deal about the UK in the EU. Months of hard work with the Chairman of the Council of Europe, plus cooperation with the European Parliament has justified itself. Happy. Justice UK, justice for the 27 EU member States”.
Earlier, the President of the European Council Donald Tusk said that a UK exit from the EU, the EU would face a real risk of collapse.
