The state Duma Committee for security and combating corruption supported the amendment in the bill of Regardie, according to which the soldiers of the new Agency, in particular, will be able to use weapons at a large gathering of people to prevent terrorist attacks or the release of hostages, RIA “Novosti”.
Clarifies that a member of Regardie, in accordance with the amendment, no right to use weapons in the crowd, if it can hurt random people. However, this right applies “except the use of weapons in order to prevent (suppress) the terrorist act, the release of the hostages, reflection group or armed attack on important government facilities, special cargo”.
The necessity of the amendment, said earlier the state Duma Committee on defense.
In early may it was reported that the interior Ministry of Russia signed a contract to supply 120 reactive flame throwers “Shmel” for the soldiers of Regardie.
