Defending Champions Spain presented the extended squad for the upcoming European championship.
Head coach of “Furia Roja Vicente Del Bosque decided in France to do without a number of star players – Juan Mata, Fernando Torres, Diego Costa and Santi Cazorla were not included in the preliminary squad. On the final application of claim 25 players, two of them would be superfluous. The main contenders for knockout of applications will be deemed Soriano, San Jose and Vasquez.
The preliminary part of the Spain squad for Euro 2016:
Goalkeepers: Iker Casillas (“Port”), David De GEA (Manchester United), Sergio Rico (Sevilla) .
Defenders: Sergio Ramos, Daniel Carvajal (both real Madrid) Gerard Piqué, Jordi Alba, Marc Bartra (FC Barcelona), Cesar Azpilicueta (Chelsea), Mikel San Jose (athletic), Juanfran (atlético).
Midfielders: Bruno Soriano (Villarreal), Serghio Busquets, Andres Iniesta (both Barcelona), Thiago Alcantara (Bayern Munich), ISCO (real Madrid), David Silva (Manchester city), Pedro rodríguez, Francesc Fabregas (both Chelsea), Koke, saúl Ñiguez (both – “athletic”).
Forwards: Aritz Aduriz (Athletic Club) Nolito (Celta), Alvaro Morata (Juventus), Lucas Vázquez (Real Madrid).
