Recently an official announcement of a domestic smart phone “Ermak weapons of mass destruction”, which immediately became a kind of sensation in Runet, and in the bad sense. Cell phone not even just criticized, ridiculed him and even, say, booed, and we note, absolutely deserved.
Literally all the popular social networks were filled with messages about “Ermak OMP, its feasibility and, more importantly, his name. Jokes were rife, and it says that the phone is doomed to failure, because the developers have made their product publicity. Most of all censures has caused the name of the smartphone Ermak weapons of mass destruction”, because it is, to put it mildly, it doesn’t. How much then, is not “Samuil Marshak” or, say, “Emelyan Pugachev”? But if it were called “Stalin” or paying tribute to modernity, “In Style”, his success would be guaranteed.
Then why Sailfish OS instead of the normal Google Android? Under Sailfish, half-dead platform, not popular in any country in the world, there are a tiny number of apps, and no, it is, by and large, are not needed. Again, the characteristics of the “Ermak WMD” leave much to be desired. That is, we have a smartphone with a, frankly, stupid name, no stuffing and non-functional firmware. This is the case when every joke to the “Ermak OMP contains the truth, and this is the case when the domestic producer to support in any case impossible.
