World’s largest fast neutron reactor bn-800 Beloyarsk NPP, which is located in Sverdlovsk region was successfully tested at a power level of 85%, the next phase of testing is bringing the work to 100% capacity. This unit is scheduled to enter full production in the fall of 2016. This was reported today press service of the BNPP.
According to the Ministry on 15 April completed testing of the new power unit No. 4 with bn-800 reactor at a power level of 85% of nominal – 730 megawatts. Since April 16, the new power unit of Beloyarsk NPP has moved to the next stage – bring the work to 100% capacity.
This unit is scheduled to enter full production in the fall of 2016.
