On the way from Fort William in Mallaig passengers enjoy beautiful landscapes: it’s no coincidence the route voted the most beautiful in the highlands. About the middle of the road built a giant viaduct (Glenfinnan Viaduk), familiar to all in the film “Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets”.
Built in 1901, the viaduct is the Glenfinnan valley between two mountains, located near the lake Loch Shiel.
There is also a monument to Prince Charles. The station is located in Glenfinnan vintage cars in which to relax in comfort. Of your final destination, you can continue to journey further, take the ferry to the Isle of Skye.
