The state prosecution asks for two years of restriction of freedom for St. Petersburg actionist Peter Pavlensky in protest “Freedom”, told the correspondent of “Rosbalt” the lawyer of the artist Dmitry dinze.

On the night of 9 November 2015 in Moscow, the artist-actionist Peter Pavlensky doused the front door of one of entrances of the building of the FSB at the Lubyanka with gasoline and set it on fire.

Originally Pavlensky became a suspect in the case of vandalism (part 2 of article 214 of the criminal code). Subsequently, the case was requalified to article 243 of the criminal code of Russian Federation “Destruction or damage of cultural heritage objects”.
