President Vladimir Putin, answering a question of journalists on possible mitigation response to Western sanctions, and said, “Fuck them.” As reported the correspondent of”.ru” the President said at a press conference on the results of the BRICS summit in India.
“Now I’ll explain my position. I said curtly but correctly. Now I will try to explain. I do not agree with you is not the counter it countermeasures to protect our market,” Putin explained.
He noted that Russia retaliated in an area where this creates problems for the West. “We did it where it was beneficial for us to do, and we will not do anything, in order to punish someone, punish yourself — buy a ticket and not go, so we won’t do,” he said.
On 2 August the Ministry reported that total losses of EU from sanctions confrontation with Russia is about 40-50 billion euros per year, or about 0.4 percent of GDP in the EU.

Why should Russia weaken the food embargo
1 July, the EU extended economic sanctions against Russia until 31 January 2017. On the same day the Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree on progenitorcell 6 August 2016 to 31 December 2017.
A number of countries, including the USA and member States of the European Union has imposed restrictive measures against Russia in 2014 by associating them with the entry of the Crimea into the Russian Federation, and then the conflict in the South-East of Ukraine. In response, on 6 August 2014, Moscow imposed an embargo on the import of products from these countries.
