Ihor Surkis criticized staffing decisions of the head coach of Ukraine Mykhailo Fomenko.

Fomenko from the preliminary list crossed off Oleg Gusev and Artem Kravets (both “Dynamo”), Ivan Petryak and Nikita Kamenyuki (both “dawn”), Maxim Malyshev (Shakhtar) and Evgeniy Shakhov (Dnipro).
