In two years of war Ukraine has proven to the world that the enemy stops not only the force of arms, but the spiritual power and the unity of the people, said President Petro Poroshenko on Vladimir hill before the prayer for peace and victory.
“Today the descendants of those who went on the attack, or under the command of Malinovsky, or under the direction of Shukhevych, together protect Ukraine from Russian aggression” – quoted his words 112.
He stressed that during severe trials there was a strong popular movement of volunteers, which became part of the new Institute of military chaplains.
According to the President, today for the victory of Ukraine prayed at the same time more than 140 chaplains and 300 soldiers.
