The photographer showed how people live in the village of Oil Rocks, which is located in the middle of the Caspian sea.
This is not just a temporary settlement of the oil workers. Here there is almost all necessary for everyday life infrastructure, and the population of the village exceeds two thousand inhabitants.
The only land in sight is a small stone ridge protruding top edges of the rocks. And yet, Oil Stones listed in the Guinness Book of records as the oldest in the world oil offshore platform.
The nearest coast is about 50 kilometers. This year, the village on stilts will be 67 years old.
