During the first quarter in the Metropolitan police registered 30851 statement and report offenses, which is 45% higher than the same period last year. About this informed the head of the National police of Ukraine khatia Dekanoidze.
“Analyzing the situation, I can say that there are a number of problematic points that need special attention. Concerned about the increase in the number of certain types of crimes: robberies, robberies, thefts from cars and thefts of vehicles. Therefore, we must develop an integrated approach for stabilization of a criminogenic situation”, ― she noted.
In turn, the Metropolitan police chief Andrey Krishchenko spoke about growth trends of individual crimes.
“In the last three years confirm the growth of certain offences. We have repeatedly talked about the causes of the antiterrorist operation, and socio-economic situation in the country and the increase in the number of population in the capital, and the reformation of the system. And so, given the situation, constantly keep our finger on the pulse and take the necessary measures for the prevention and efficient disclosure of offences of all kinds”, ― said Andrey Krishchenko.
