In addition, during the stay in the foreign service since 1986, Jovanovic worked in the American embassies in Moscow, London, Ottawa and Mogadishu.
It is also known that it is not just a “expert on Russia” and is proficient in Russian languages. Both her grandfather — paternal and maternal — were born in Russia.
With regard to the Ukrainian experience Jovanovic, it can hardly be considered successful. Because she was actually the initiator of the deterioration of U.S. relations with the Kuchma administration.

It seems to me that the very Western side acknowledges that he, in General, has played a largely negative role in the Ukrainian scenario. Because he largely set up the Ukrainian political elite on the very sharp conflict. And that we should hate Russia and that “a small number of renegades” who are not going to deprive themselves of a Russian identity.

In any case, making both foreign and internal policy decisions in Ukraine will remain at the Embassy of the United States of America.
