Federal service of national guard troops (FSWG) began testing a high-precision sniper rifle T-5000 Russian private company “Orsis”. If testing will be successful, in the future, these high-precision sniper complexes — so the official language referred to as sniper rifles go into service of scouts and commandos of Regardie. And this is the first case when small arms for the Russian security agencies will be purchased, not state-owned companies, and private producers.
— Currently testing T-5000 chambered in .308 Win (7,62×51-mm. — “news”) are based on the 604-th Center of special purpose “Vityaz”. The first rifles were transferred to the commandos at the end of last year, and testing will be completed by the end of this year, — told “Izvestia” representative TSUNG familiar with the situation.
According to the interlocutor, the Russian sniper complexes in the case of successful tests, should enter service with the reconnaissance units and special forces, as well as recently passed in Resguardo from interior Ministry Riot police and SWAT.
— “Orsis” five years ago entered the market with its T-5000, however, the rifle at the time was quite crude, — said the employee of the national guard. But now the disadvantages are mostly eliminated and any difficulties during the test.
