Belarus expects delivery from Russia of the fourth division anti-aircraft missile system s-300 PS in March this year. This statement was made on Tuesday chief of the air forces and Air defense of Belarus Oleg Dvigalet.
According to him, supply of the next division s-300 is expected in March from Noginsk. Along with it will be delivered to the command post, lead words Dvigala Belarusian media.
Three of the four Russian-supplied divisions have already arrived in Belarus, he said. Two divisions of s-300 delivered from Khabarovsk and will be forwarded to the 377 th air defence missile regiment at Polotsk. “Now the third is taken in Borisov,” added the commander.
Dvigalet noted that the 1st and 115th air defence regiments in Brest and Grodno regions will also receive one division s-300. However, he stressed that the complexes are delivered to the Russian side free of charge after capital repairs with a guarantee of up to 5-7 years.
