In the final of the tournament “miners” dry dealt with Zorya Luhansk.
Double Oleksandr Gladkyy has allowed Shakhtar for the first time since 2013 to become the owner of the Cup of Ukraine. The Donetsk team after defeats by Dynamo regained the trophy in their hands, and Mircea Lucescu in his farewell match brought Shakhtar a victory.
“Dawn” in his debut final, had a decent resistance to the favorite team Yuriya Vernidub in the first half had few promising moments, but their chances of Luhansk were not used. Budkovskyy caravan and Petryak caused a lot of problems to the defense of “Shakhtar”.
