How to “Vedomosti”, has discussed increasing the limit of project financing by the Central Bank.
According to Federal officials familiar with the situation, the initiator of the meeting was made by the Minister of economic development Alexei Ulyukayev. His Department proposes to increase the program of the Central Bank from 100 to 240 billion rubles. The speaker tried to convince colleagues that it is necessary to stimulate economic growth through state investments. Thus, one of the forms he called project financing.
It is noted that the head of the Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina and presidential aide Andrei Belousov spoke against the motion. They explained that dissatisfied by the mechanism of selection of projects. The publication stresses that decisions about increasing the limit on the meeting was not accepted.
Under the program of financing in the past year were selected 42 projects to 347 billion rubles. They require loans to 235 billion rubles. After accessing loans from banks under 11,5% annual projects should receive refinancing in the Central Bank at 9%. At the beginning of March, the Central Bank refinanced loans worth only 69 billion.
