In the list of sanctions against Russia in connection with the case of the Ukrainian pilot Nadezhda Savchenko is 46 surnames: 44 Russians and two Ukrainians. About it reports on Thursday the Agency “Interfax-Ukraine” with reference to anonymous sources in diplomatic circles.
According to the Agency, to the list, including hit the head of the Federal security service of Russia Alexander Bortnikov, the head of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin and the first Deputy foreign Minister Vladimir Titov. The sources did not rule out that the sanctions could hit the head of the self-proclaimed Luhansk national Republic Igor Carpentry.
Attorney Savchenko mark Feigin, in turn, said that the list also had to include representatives of the investigative bodies and the Russian judge. “Their names are in the file. The political part of the list I cannot comment on it”, — said the lawyer.
Earlier it became known that President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, who on Thursday is on a visit in Brussels, gave the head of the European Council Donald Tusk and European Parliament President Martin Schulz suggestions on sanctions against the persons involved in the case Savchenko.
The head of the European Parliament, according to RIA “news” have confirmed that have received “the Savchenko list” and promised, together with the EU institutions to study it. Responding to a question of Ukrainian journalist, Martin Schulz said
“I got this list. My service and I will study this list in conjunction with institutions. Your question was, do you think that all of the defendants in the list will be declared persona non grata, and if you mentioned the name of President Putin? My answer: not all of the defendants in the list will be declared persona non grata. Perhaps it will not refer to person number one (the President of Russia — approx. ed.)”.
Recall that the Ukrainian pilot and Verkhovna Rada Deputy Nadiya Savchenko is accused in Russia of involvement in the death of journalists of VGTRK of Igor Kornelyuk and Anton Voloshin in the summer of 2014 under Lugansk and illegal crossing of the Russian border. Prosecutor demands to sentence her to 23 years in prison. The Donetsk court of Rostov region appointed sentencing on March 21-22.
