Events unfold a picture in the XIII century. Russia almost fell to the onslaught of the Golden Horde. Enemy troops, without encountering on its way the proper resistance, burn the city, kill all in its path, shed rivers of blood. Only one person – the Governor yevpaty Kolovrat, who hails from Ryazan, assemble a squad of brave men to speak out against Batu.
