The government warned of further drop in income of the population

The Ministry of economic development (med) predicts a further fall in the real incomes of Russians in 2016. This is stated in the macroeconomic forecast of the Ministry, which was approved at the government meeting, reports RIA “Novosti”.

According to estimates by the MAYOR, in 2016, the real incomes of Russians will fall by an average of 2.8%, and their growth will resume only in 2017 and not more than 0.7%. In 2018 the growth will not exceed 1%, and in 2019, at 1.1%.

The unemployment rate, according to estimates by the MAYOR, in 2016 there will be 5.8%, the same level the Agency predicts in 2017 — 018. In 2019, the Agency expects a decline to 5.7%.

Earlier it was reported that the Central Bank saw in the Russian economy signs of recovery growth, but still fears of rising inflation.
