The statement of the President of Azerbaijan can be considered as an unsuccessful attempt to turn reality on its head, distort the negotiation process. This was stated press Secretary of the Armenian foreign Ministry Tigran Balayan of “radio Liberty”, commenting on the statement of President Aliyev on the status of Nagorno Karabakh, reports the NEWS.am.
“Cited in Aliyev’s statements of heads of co-chairing countries of the OSCE Minsk group clearly stated that the status of Nagorno-Karabakh will be resolved legally binding expression of will of people of Nagorno-Karabakh” — said Balayan.
“It would be better if the leadership of Azerbaijan was not engaged in self-deception and not let dust in the eyes of the Azerbaijani public. A week ago, the head of Azerbaijan has recognized the real content of the talks, noting that Baku appeal to recognize the independence of Nagorno — Karabakh,” he added.
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev regularly States that Azerbaijan will never recognize the independence of Nagorno-Karabakh.
