CHARIOT RACES IN “BEN-HUR”
According to Director Timur Bekmambetov, the scene of car chases in chariots were the most difficult in the whole process. They took a total of 45 days, and horses at the site were nine dozen. The chariot was created according to historic descriptions – curiously, they turned out much more compact than shown previously in historical films.
