Russian producers of Packed goods in Ukraine, thus avoiding sanctions.
The Association of retailers said, as the Russian manufacturers avoid Ukrainian sanctions. According to the Director of Association Alexey Doroshenko, they are massively deployed equipment for packing goods in Ukraine, so the legislation they have nothing to violate, and their products are not subject to mandatory labelling “Goods of Russia”.
“You can bring a ton of washing powder and to package it in Ukraine, but you can’t bring a pack, as the pack fall under sanctions, and ton – no. Fish, caviar, seafood, tea, coffee – almost all companies put their filling equipment in Ukraine” – said in a statement.
Moreover, Doroshenko said: “part of the Russian firms had been re-registered in Europe, and now the company brings their products as such, which supposedly produced in Poland or France.”
We will note, according to the national Bank of Ukraine, exports of goods from Ukraine to Russia in January 2016 declined 48% to 121 million dollars, and import to Ukraine from the Russian Federation fell by 60.6%, or more than 2.5 times – up to 246 million dollars
